Announcement | Webinar on Recent OmegaT Improvements

OmegaT_3_0_6

I will give a webinar on the recent OmegaT improvements geared towards less experienced OmegaT users. I will also make the recorded video available in this blog provided all goes well.

Webinar details:

Date and time: Wednesday, November 13, 2013, 4 p.m. CET (GMT+1 or 19:00 Russian Standard Time).

Duration: 1 hour

Link: https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/513707245

Cost: Free. Please note that the trial gotomeeting.com account I will be using is limited to 25 participants.

Language: Less than perfect English, since I am a non-native speaker. This will be an unscripted, live presentation, so do not expect precision.

Connection details:

You will be connected to audio using your computer’s microphone and speakers (VoIP).  A headset is recommended.

Agenda:

  1. Improvements in OmegaT starting with version 3.0.1, since I already covered the version 3.0.0 extensively.
  2. Some of the most useful scripts.
  3. Managing translation memories.

Any ideas or suggestions are welcome. In case of problems, feel free to contact me through the comments below.

A pity, that GoToMeeting doesn’t support Linux.
    Looking forward to the video!

    • No way, really?!
It is a shame indeed. I thought as a web-based service, GoToMeeting would be available universally. I looked at various platforms, but only they supported real-time video.
      Best,

Excellent webinar, Roman. There’s obviously so much more to discuss, but I learned a lot.

    Best regards,
