Successful Tests Mean Translation Quality Improves

Season’s greetings to our customers, vendors, and blog readers! This post is a recap of some of the most important things that happened to our company in 2008.

New Business, People Development, Translation Quality

  1. All major returning clients, including translation agencies, continued to send us work this year. We love this and view it as a key performance indicator. A returning client means a happy client and signals we’re on the right path. We’ll do our best to maintain these relationships.
  2. We established relationships with great new major clients. We’re excited to welcome them aboard and are committed to making them our regular customers.
  3. This year, Velior turned three. Because most of our people have been with the company for at least two years, team collaboration got better.
  4. And our folks themselves are getting better, which is a cornerstone of our company’s philosophy—we make it our job to increase translation quality step by step. One quality indicator is the number of test translations we pass. And we’re proud to report that the number of sample translations accepted by clients increased this year.

Summary

This year has been extremely positive for us as a company. We hope that the next year will bring new opportunities to provide Russian translation services to our existing and new clients. Happy New Year!
